We are currently seeking an experienced immigration paralegal to fill a position in the Los Angeles office.
Under the supervision of lead attorneys the paralegal will be responsible for business immigration applications. The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of H-1B and L-1 petitions with particular emphasis on PERM labor certification applications, and blanket L-1As.
The paralegal will work closely with experienced business immigration attorneys assisting in all aspects of business immigration, primarily the PERM Labor Certification Process with other responsibilities such as non-immigrant and immigrant visa processing. The ideal candidate will:
Analyze case documents.
Prepare applications for filing.
Draft petitions and specialized support letters.
Assist in Recruitment application process.
Draft Business Necessity Statements.
Analyze job descriptions.
Communicate with clients, and foreign nationals, as needed.
Work collegially in a team environment.
