The Associate Recruitment Manager is responsible for management of the Boston, New York, and Philadelphia offices’ law school On-Campus recruitment processes and outreach, summer associate programs, as well as entry-level and experienced lawyer recruitment. This team member will provide management and oversight to a recruiting coordinator in the region. The Associate Recruitment Manager reports to the Director of Associate Recruitment and works closely with the offices’ Recruiting and Summer Associate Committees. This team member works with the Director and other managers to help set recruiting strategy and develop and deploy initiatives in the region and across the U.S. The position will be resident in the New York office.
·Five plus years of experience in law firm attorney recruitment required with at least three years of experience in staff/team management
·Ability to build consensus, exercise discretion, and maintain confidential information, as well as exercise good judgment and flexibility.
·Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·Ability to manage, organize and implement detailed and complex projects.
·Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with all levels of HL personnel/lawyers.
·Ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure.
·Strong supervisory skills.
·Bachelor degree or equivalent work-related experience.
HOURS & OTHER INFORMATION Core Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. Must be flexible to travel and work additional hours.
